just finished watched "Chasing Amy" the criterion collection, thanks to Jay, what a great movie! Actually all 4 movies by Kevin Smith (silent bob) & Jason Mewes (Jay) are all great.. i like "Clerks" cuz of its originality and its dialogue, i like "Mallrats" cuz of the sheer humour, i like "Chasing Amy" because of the story and moral, and i like "Dogma" cuz it was pretty funny as well. Great moral i guess in "Chasing Amy", it really made me reflect on the fact that people find it so hard to forgive and forget what other people have done in the past.. people are so quick to judge one another, i'm not excluding myself either, but i guess sometimes its really hard to forgive and forget especially when it is something big....
enough of that, feeling a little better today, got some rest and feel a bit stronger...went with jay to shang to see if he could get his new ps2 but unfortunetly jay didn't have his dough.. anyway, i'm out.. peace..
still feeling like crap! my throat is so sore and i can barely breathe.. i hate being sick! can't even get a few decent hours of sleep cuz my cough ends up waking me up... guna go to the doctor tomorrow though.. at least i'm watching The Two Towers on sunday! i'm psyched!.. i'm out..
damn i'm sick.. just been home the whole day other than to drop cel off at work and to borrow some dvds from jay.. got a bad cough and my throat is killing me! same ol same ol just watched a few dvds today... watched black hawk down for the 1st time, good movie in terms of action but i thought the cast was a little weak except for ewan mcgregor, i thought josh harnett didn't fit his character but that's just me.. action was f***** raw, its sad though, war is so useless and no one ever comes out a winner...
also watched the ultimate jordan dvd, damn.. if God were to be a basketball player i think he'd be michael jordan.. that guys is sooo damn good!
damn excited to watch The two towers, i hope to watch it this sunday, have to cough up a little more dough but i just can't wait, its supposed to show in the theatres in january but cel said she could get premiere tickets so she is.. can't wait.. out
i'm starting to really enjoy my x-mas break.. started the day off by going to mass at 5 in the morning, kind of a tradition here in the Philippines to go to mass every morning at around 4 or 5 in the morning 9 days before x-mas.. well i try to go as much as possible but my ass is too lazy sometimes.. anyway, after mass picked up cel from work since she works for a call center that takes calls from the states so that mean she works from 10pm-7am.. had breakfast and then went home and got some sleep.. woke up at about 3 and then we did some last minute x-mas shopping, i'm almost done, just lack a gift for my parents and my little brother, after shopping went home, ate, and then dropped cel off at work..
been bumming around, watched a great movie though, ever since we got our dvd player i've just become a movie buff.. watched The Shawshank Redemption just awhile ago and damn was it good.. isn't the first time i watched the movie but its still a great movie.. great acting, great cinematography, great sound, and a great story of friendship and hope.. if anyone of you need to watch a pick me up movie, this is it! a great story of human triumph and hope.. written and directed by the same guy who did The Green Mile, Frank Darabont..

i'm back on this thing after a few days, doesn't really matter cuz no one ever reads this thing, but oh well.. my weekend was good, saturday went to a baptism with cel, its sad cuz it seems like more and more of our friends seem to be having kids eventhough they can't afford to or they didn't intend to, its sad cuz their futures are changed forever.. anyway, the baby boy was really cute.. after that cel and i did a bit of x-mas shopping and then i went home and chilled for awhile, went to jay's and played ps2 again, and once again i was able to beat him! but once again i lost to lo sucks... after that con joined us and we went to get some food, it was cool, we ended up talking for about an hour and half about bali and different stuff.. was fun..
sunday, i just chilled during the afternoon and then at night had a dinner here, sort of a birthday thing for con and i since my b-day was on the 10th and con's is on the 19th, was real fun, just a few of us, my family, con's family, jay & cat, and paolo.. had indo food for dinner and man was it good! after that we all went to this party thing for cel's office, it was aight, a little boring but it's cool..
monday, now i'm just sitting on my fat ass writing this thing, didn't do much today, just went with jay and lo to greenhills cuz jay bought shoes and lo had to get some stuff.. i got a bunch of dvd's though cuz my older brother and sister in law got my family a dvd player for x-mas.. so from now on for the rest of the x-mas break i'm just guna be a major couch potato.. out..
