went to the university of the philippines today for a thesis shoot, didn't take long so right after i went to see my niece katie, she's adorable! she got pissed at me and my sister in law cuz we were trying to wake her up and she just didn't want to wake up, babies are so funny at times, it looks little katie has got a lot of personality so we may be in for a lot trouble down the road, but that's cool she's cute anyway

after visiting katie just went home and hit the weights, i tell you i'm getting to round around my belly area and its the hardest damn thing to lose! why do i love to eat?! also watched "whose line is it anyway", i swear that ish is the best, impromptu comedy at its finest!

whose line is anyway cast

you know how i told you how my friends and i went to karoake place last saturday, well i forgot that actually did sing along to one song, that song be an 80's sentimental favorite down here in manila, Breathe's "hands to heaven", not a big fan of extremely sappy and sentimental songs (well unless they're r&b) but this one just reminds me so much of growing up in singapore and hong kong, i think that was the time this song came out, aside from that it really is a pretty good song sung by a bunch of pretty white euro boys, ah the 80's, what a decade! funny how songs are so nostalgic (i hope i spelled that right), i love songs from the past especially the ones that i listened to during middle and high school cuz they seem to bring me back to those times...

so the draft has come and gone and no real surprises other than that Lampje dude going down all the way to the 30th spot, so many of these analysts say he got game, i guess we'll just have to wait and see.. other than that looks to be a pretty good crop of rookies... one interesting trade however did happen and i'm waiting for more to follow, sam i am is now a timberwolve and should add some scoring punch to that team, it'd be fun to watch cassel and hudson in the backcourt and maybe if minny gets wallace from portland, him and kg on the frontline, that'd be a pretty damn good team right there...

anyway, was flippin through the channels last night and stumbled upon "the worlds greatest ufo evidence" or some title like that, quite intriguing, really makes you wonder whether there is other life forms out there, there's no doubt in my mind, but why do so many governments want to keep these incidents on the dl? speaking of strange phenomena, went to karoake place with a bunch of friends from school, i don't know, singing and making a fool out of myself just isn't my thing, but somehow filipinos love to do that! i was stuck there while my friends were whaling away (is that the right spelling for that word?) songs that i couldn't even understand, of course i was the only one around that came from abroad, so they decided to punish me by singing all tagalog songs, they seemed to love it, and i guess it was fun watching them but i just could not understand them...

watched "old school" as well, pretty funny movie starring luke wilson, will ferrel, and vince vaughn.. funny concept, that being these three starting their own frat in order to keep a house that has been rezoned to the university's property.. vaughn seems to reprise his roll as trent in the classic guy flick "swingers" and ferrel just acts likes a complete ass, some really funny scenes, check it out, also a surprise performance in the movie by snoop dogg and warren g.. speaking of warren g, was listening to a bside of his, well not his, but its found on the classic g-funk joint "regulate" single, i'm talking about 2pac's "pain", i don't know why pac didn't release this single cuz by far it is my favorite 2pac song.. these were the years that rap was still gangsta and where bands such as jodeci, h-town, and shai ruled the r & b charts.. a time where R (R. Kelly) was still bumpin and grindin with chicks that were of legal age, oh wait, my bad he married aaliyah when she was still 15.. i guess somethings never change...
