man this sucks! first gp and then malone, who next? i guess i have to admit that playing with kobe and shaq in los angeles for a championship is more than any free agent can ask for, i guess i'm just bitter cuz i really don't like the lakers.. one thing that's good to see is that malone and gp are actually serious about winning championship after giving up millions and millions of dollars.. that's one thing i can't understand with the atheletes these days, they always say, "its not about the money, its about winning" but that's a load of horse crap! these very same guys that say this then turn around and sign a lucrative multi-million dollar contract which in turn hurts their teams cuz they can't sign any other big names, sucks... its all about the benjamins in the nba, if players really wanted to win then they take huge pay cuts so that other great players could sign with the team, i mean really now, shouldn't you be happy with say 3-4 million dollars a year for just playing basketball? do you really need 90 million over 7 years? what the hell are you guna do with all that money?! so j.kidd if you can hear me, take a big pay cut and stay in jersey and offer the money to other free agents so that you can try and win against the fab four of L.A, T.D of San Antonio, C.Webb and his kings, and hair nash and his mavs.. pls....
caught "legends of the fall" on hbo today, for some reason i really like the movie eventhough it is quite a girly film, hmm.. what does that say about me? i think the main reason i like it is because of aidan quinn who is a really good actor, sir anthony hopkins is great in this movie as well, the only thing i don't like about the movie is the way it ends, too sad for me...
just finished setting up my router, well almost i guess, for some reason the network doesn't want to work! my computer is online but my dad's computer and the other computer can't seem to get online for some reason, i set up all the hardware correctly and the software as well, even got help from computer guru jay but still no dice! argh its times like these where i just wanna kick and beat my computer down to a pulp... okay i'm violent.. anyway, looking forward to the weekend i guess cuz i finally get to play ball after weeks and we're all going out cuz donna montemayor is back in town for a visit.. peace
i really hate being sick, my nose is running, my throat is so sore, and i just feel like crap, only consolation is that i get to have as much frozen yoghurt as i want! Contrary to popular belief, ice cream and frozen yoghurt actually help soothe a sore throat, Dr. Mom bought a book on various cures for various illnesses and i read it there, so yahoo!... just came from the beach yesterday so thats why i'm sick, went with a couple of old friends from school, a good time as usual, we got there friday night, and just ate and drank until the wee hours of the morning, next day we just spent most of the day on the beach and most of the night playing monopoly, i never realized how fun that game is! cel and i were teammates and after like an hour or two, we owned everything except i row of property, it was so fun that we are seriously thinking of investing in a monopoly set... other than that the trip was great, good time with friends and just relaxing on the beach, i'll have the pics up soon in my website..
watched Steven Spielberg's 10 part mini-series "taken" last night and damn is it good. Spielberg's other 10 part mini-series, "band of brothers" was a classic and taken looks to follow in its footsteps.. i loved how the overall look of the first episode corresponded to its time, such as the props, the costumes, and even the picture quality and color, and the story is real interesting as well cuz its like 3 or 4 different encounters with aliens yet slowly but surely these individual stories will surely merge into one greater story, the really interesting thing about this series is that all these stories are based on true accounts, man i wish i could know whether or not extra terrestrials really exist..
