man oh man do I LOVE THIS COUNTRY! just today there was a coup attempt, which is guna do wonders for our economy, the soldiers that staged the coup had legitimate reasons and issues but i just believe that they did it in the wrong way, they didn't help themselves or our fellow countrymen, there is a lot of foul crap going on in this country and in the government and it really sucks! you see people on the road with nothing to eat and living by the railroad in make shift shanties, while you see goverment officials who aren't supposed to be paid that much living the life in posh mansions with several luxury cars that they don't even use! how fair is that! makes me LOVE THIS COUNTRY even more! to further my love for this country, my thesis is hanging in the balance due to a lot of red tape, we want to feature this chef who's story is very inspirational, but just to get to him we have to talk to the general manager who can't even give us 5 minutes of her time just to allow us to contact this chef! and then another org. is never there when we call and never gets back to us! how can this country progress when there is so much red tape and everything is so inefficient! I LOVE THIS COUNTRY! our thesis is supposed to be about good things or good news here in the Philippines, but time passes, it seems that there is nothing or very little that is good about the Philippines, maybe i'm just losing hope in this country, but whenever i think things are starting to look up something always comes up and proves me wrong.. once i again i will stick with my recurring theme..I LOVE THIS COUNTRY! on that note, i'm out, been thinking about starting a jazz bar/cafe with a few friends, but the investment seems to be quite intimidating, oh well, all that's left to do is pray for a brighter future which i'm sure God will give us all if we deserve it
