thank god its the weekend! man what a slow week, i feel like i've aged like 10 years in just one week! that's how slow the week has been! at least its friday now and i get to go home and be a bum at home instead of at work.. i swear sometimes i don't even know why i write in this thing, the only other person that ever reads this thing is jluc! oh well, i guess i write it to keep myself busy at times of boredom, which has been quite frequent lately
at least next week promises to be more interesting and busy as i already have a couple of meetings scheduled and i have my laser eye surgery scheduled for next friday, i can't wait! i finally get to see out of my own eyes with no contacts, no glasses no nothing! after 24 years! its guna be nice not having to take off my contacts at night and having to put them on in the morning! and i swear the glasses i wear don't do much in the self-esteem dept., whenever i wear them i feel like a complete nerd whos wearing magnifying glasses, seriously i kid you not i could start a fire on a deserted (did i spell that right?) island with these things, and till my surgery i have to wear these! so now i'm a short, fat, & ugly nerd. haven't worked out in like 2-3 weeks cuz my wrist is injured from a game and all i do is eat, as we speak i'm munching down on a bag of caramel popcorn! damn being bored and hungry!

i'm starting to believe that whoever created Dexter's Labratory must've have seen a picture of me now or when i was in like 4th or 5th grade! that resemblance is striking! though i think dexter actually has the upper hand because he's cute, but right now i think i could easily go into a cartoon network event, wear a lab gown, and color my hair orange and i'm sure they'd believe i was dexter!
Ho hum.. this is how i feel right now, not doing anything at work and don't know what to do other than crawl into my bed and take a nice nap! was at work till around 11:30 last night cuz we had to put statement of accounts together and newsletters and blah.. not fun but very necessary especially when your doing it for a client.. at least i get to take a break from work for at least an hour today cuz i have to go to an eye center to start the process of getting my eyes lasered..
thanks to j-luc for opening my eyes to "The Sports Guy" from ESPN! i can't help but laugh at some of the stuff he writes, and the rest of that page 2 crew in ESPN.com are sheer ganyus as well!
no real news on the basketball scene right now, i did enjoy the sports guy's article on wrestlemania XX though. i love the WWE eventhough i know its all fake and setup, its just so entertaining for me and takes me back to the days when i was a kid watching the ultimate warrior, ricky the dragon steamboat, demolition, & ravishing rick rude to name a few.. the WWE sure has come along way from those days..

Kelly is now a free man, R. is legendary in terms of song writing, producing, and just lasting in the music scene, his 12 play album is a hip-hop classic and his debut album with public announcement is a must in every collection.. but i still do worry that he's already in some pre-schools waiting for his next girlfriend to turn the ripe age of 14! why R.? Why??
is anybody getting tired of the antics of NBA players? i mean i love to watch but i just don't understand it when these guys complain the way they do especially since most of them earn in a year what any average joe makes in his lifetime! latest incident.. allen iverson.. i love AI and all but he's gotta keep his ego in check! i know he's a starter but just because he's not starting for one game or so doesn't mean he has to sit out the entire game cuz his ego got hurt, come on be a professional, i mean your earning like 90 million dollars do your job! which brings me to my next point.... little guys shoot too much and it hurts their team..
actually AI is an exception cuz he needs to score and shoot because philly has no one else... but look at baron davis and stevie franchise, these guys hoist up like 25 shots and don't even make half of them while the everybody else is attempting less than 10 shots! these guys are supposed to be point guards for crying out loud! stevie is awesome but now that they have Yao he doesn't need to score that much, i've noticed that when Yao and everybody else get a lot of attempts and stevie gets like 10-15 attempts and like 7 or more assists the rockets win.. and BD, he just shoots too much and shoots too many 3's, they've got some good guys on that hornets team but they don't even touch the ball... in all honesty, if i was their height and played ball in the nba and had the skills they had, i'd probably be like them! ha..ha...
