Miami Heat
Doesn't that sound good right now? being in Miami enjoying the summer heat on a beautiful beach? that is all a fantasy right now as i'm stuck behind my desk and computer typing away for this entry who no one will probably read anyway.. once again another slow day at work, finished most of my work already and just waiting for the feedback of a presentation that was presented earlier to see if there are any changes..

anyway, the point of this entry? since my other team from Florida is officially in the hunt for this years number one pick in the draft lottery, i have shifted my focus to the other team in the sunshine state of Florida, namely the Miami Heat.. it's been tough watching such a dominant team be dismantled and left with almost nothing. after years of dominance as one of the beasts of the east in the late 90's the Heat went through several tough seasons which saw the ailing kidney of Zo, the constant breakdown of Timmy's knees, the trade of Jamal Mashburn and PJ Brown, and the list goes on and on.. despite all of this the Heat finally find themselves in the playoff hunt this year currently holding down the 6th spot... Dwayne Wade and Lamar Odom have been monsters these season, i never realized how good Dwayne Wade was but whenever i see the boxscore its quite impressive, Lamar Odom has been a triple double threat all season and Skip to my Lou is finally getting some respect and playing time! Eddie Jones has been playing alright but for the size of his contract he's definetly not playing like he was when he was back in LA and Charlotte, kind of disappointing, so is Brian Grant who looked like was guna be an all-star after very good seasons in portland, but once again the big contract the bad play plague hit.. Caron Butler as well has not been playing particularly well, perhaps he's got the sophomore slump so hopefully his game will pick up in the playoffs.. okay that's enough babbling about the Heat, it'd be nice to see them advance past the first round of the playoffs though!

He'd be the rookie of the year if Lebron and Carmelo weren't around

last words...
this is the last day of my life that i will depend on glasses or contact lenses! i'm finally guna look through my own eyes with no aids tomorrow as i'm guna get my laser eye surgery tomorrow, sweet!
