suprises funny how the simplest things can totally change your outlook and mood, i was surprised today by the voice of an old friend, she actually went through the effort to buy an "extra pinoy" call card in the states just to call me, though i wasn't home, she called me at the office and we ended up talking for like half an hour, its been 5 or 6 years since i saw her last and heard her voice and it was just great hearing her voice and actually talking rather than messaging or emailing.. it was almost like we were back in jakarta talking on the phone or talking at the mall like we used to.. man do i miss everyone, but just talking to her made my day and perhaps my whole week, so thanks agnes! and congrats on your new job!
august and everything after... a title i used before but appropriate i think, its just been a good august as jay said, fabs came down and we had a blast, desiree came down and that was awesome, and everything else is going pretty good, busy at work and challenged so its all good! here's to hoping the rest of the year falls into place! thank you GOD!

JIS i may sound like a broken record already but its always a good time whenever someone from JIS comes into town.. our friend desiree from high school is here and we had a small party in con's place to catch up and just hang out, the last time we all saw desiree was like 8 years ago and yet last night we were all talking and chilling like we were the best of friends.. we weren't even that close to her in high school or middle school but yet that common bond of going to an international school seems to bring down all previous barriers or differences.. it was just a good time and catching up and finding out what our other classmates are up to is always fun as well...
