thank you to everyone that was able to come last friday to our (con & i) b-day bash.. great party, great people, great drinks, and of course the legendary great dip (courtesy of me! ha.. ha..) real good time, it was just nice spending quality time with people that are quality.. and the set up this year was just phat! had a tent with bean bags and cushions and my lava lamp as the centerpiece of a low lying table, all this outside on con's awesome roof deck.. thanks to con the place was decorated with snow (styrofoam balls), christmas deco, and mistletoe (did i spell that right?!) it was just nice and chill.. we even got people to wear goofy santa hats! ha..ha.. classic!.. just a great time, thanks to everyone that came.. will have pics up soon...
thank you also to trish, agnes, and kai for really making my day today, they called all the way from the states just to greet me a happy b-day meant a lot to me.. also thanks to joe and aileen for doing the same..

those suns are nuts! i wonder how long they can keep it up though, looking at the boxscore every game, each starter averages at least 30-35 minutes per game, you're bound to get worn out or injured playing at the pace that they play at by the time all star weekend comes around, so for sure they're guna need some bench help real soon.. anyway, to continue with my entry, Q. Rich was just insane last sunday against the blazers, 8 3's and a season high 37 pts, nuts i tell you, 8-12 from behind the arc, unreal.. he was in a bit of a funk early in the season but it didn't really matter cuz amare (who for some reason just looks like someone who understands nothing else other than "ball" and "basket"), marion, and nash were playing and still are playing so well.. nash can explode for 15-20 dimes and 15-20 pts, while amare is always a high double double threat, and marion does whatever is needed that particular game and it just looks they're having fun playing.. incredible..
quick NBA notes: clippers.. are they for real? magic and g.hill, you have to be happy about that... houston? we have a problem... dirk 53, t-mac 48 whoa!... can't wait for those x-mas games indy vs. detroit, miami vs. la!... seems like kobe's done wrong again, doesn't this guy get it?...

after 9 months of eager anticipation, baby briana tan hoese is finally here! angel gave birth last monday to a beautiful healthy 7 lbs. baby girl.. got the text message from sunshine saying that angel had just given birth, so being the good ninong i am (ha..ha. yeah right) i drove myself to the hospital and greeted the lucky new parents, unfortunately i wasn't able to see baby briana cuz it was kind of late already.. so instead sunshine and i talked about the birth while watching football, while angel, exhausted from giving birth quietly napped... its great seeing both of them so happy and so excited about their beautiful new daughter, you can kind of tell when people are guna be good parents and i can tell that sunshine and angel will, already mike is calling briana "my girl" and not "my baby" or "daughter" and he's told me he's got a shotgun ready and waiting for any guy foolish enough to come up to her..ha..ha.. i've got my machine gun and carlo's got his bazooka as well.. ha..ha.. can't wait till she takes her first few steps and can interact...
kids are incredible, you just can't help but smile when you see them.. katie is huge these days and naughtier as ever, its so fun just playing with her and being with her.. i just hope my brother and sister in law have a few more kids so i have more nieces and nephews...
