the beach... got back from a short trip to the beach over the weekend, was katie's 2nd b-day so my brother and sister in law decided to celebrate her party there..was a good time, rented a friend's beach house again and basically just ate, talked, and watched katie and rissa (another adorable baby girl) play and enjoy their time.. i love the beach, i love just going out there and soaking up some sun and watching and listening the waves crash into the shore line, something about it that sets my mind at ease although my mind is always going, but being at the beach seems to put more peace and calm into my thinking process.. sad though, how so many beaches are polluted because over population, poor care, and the disregard for nature, i'm no greenpeace volunteer but i do believe in saving and keep the environment clean, thats why it saddened me when i went back to boracay because the first time i went there it was pretty clean, but the last time i was there i could see the difference of over population and poor environmental care.. oh well...plan to go to the beach again soon, need to get out..
on another note, tomorrow is poker night again, quite psyched about it as i have home court advantage tomorrow, well not really, but i'd like to think so, watched the world poker tour on tv just awhile ago and man those guys are good and have king kong sized balls! now if i only i could buy a poker face and king kong sized balls i'd be all set for tomorrow...
i have a theory on why the spurs are doing so well this season and will inevitably win the nba championship.. two words.. EVA LONGORIA.. i'm surprised tony parker isn't the mvp of the century! he should be the best player basketball has ever seen simply for the fact that he goes home to EVA every night! i think her mere presence at the SBC center during Spurs games has lifted the Spurs level of play, all the way to the NBA Finals.. i can't even begin to imagine who Manu is going home to, he's been playing incredibly lately!..
