back to the future: the very best of jodeci...

after 10 years jodeci has finally come out with a greatest hits album and i assure you this one won't leave you disappointed (i'm just disappointed in my spelling), i was looking through the tracks on this cd and they've got everything from their albums (Forever my lady, Diary of a mad band, and The show, the after party, the hotel,) if you've got all three albums then there's no rush in getting this one, but if you don't got all their albums then this is a must! i love jodeci, they were the bad boy version of boyz II men yet could harmonize and put out the senti songs just like boyz II men.. some notable favorites on this greatest hits album are "cry for you" jodeci's live rendition of stevie wonder's classic "lately", "feenin", "come and talk to me", and "good luv" to name a few.. a shame that they had to break up so early, no one had more soul then k-ci, jojo's voice was one of a kind, and devante was a genius.. sorry mr. dalvin..

new...
its official, i'll will have a new job in 3 weeks, gave my letter of resignation today and all thats left to do is sign my offer sheet for my new company and send it to the HR director.. feels weird.. i'm excited but at the same time scared of what lies ahead oh well, i think its the right thing to do and i think this job can hopefully open other doors and opportunities in the future..

as usual watched another movie last night, this time it was "Batman begins".. very good movie, never thought anyone could top Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, but Christian Bale did a pretty good job, i wouldn't go so far as to say that he's a better Batman because the story of "Batman begins" is just so much better than the first two Batmans, i guess i'm biased cuz Keaton was the original Batman and will always be remembered as so.. "Batman begins" awesome...

last words...
looking for something to do or read, i usually visit one of my favorite sites.. www.espn.go.com's page 2, specifically Bill Simmons sports guy section.. here's why i love it so much.. ruthless but i couldn't help but laugh..

taken from the Sports Guy's mailbag where his readers ask him questions and he replies..

Q: If I was Stevie Wonder's game describer with courtside seats, would it be bad if I scalped them for $1,000 each, then bought upper-level seats instead? Or if I scalped them and took him to a pickup game at the Y? He still gets the enjoyment of "attending" a game, and I get $2K. Win-win. I know I wasn't the only one who wrote in about this. Was I?

SG: Yup … these are my readers.

one of the best ever...
