never need that...
i remember thinking this while attending some classes in high school and college, i'll never use what i'm learning right now in real life.. but damn, that has slapped me back in the face! you'll always hear it, "why do we need to learn math?", "why am i taking chemistry?" etc. etc. but once you get older you realize that some of those things are actually quite important later on cuz you'll never know where you'll end up working! for example, though biology is not useless and i never slacked off during my high school bio classes (probably cuz i liked the class and the teacher, college is another story however) i never thought i'd have any real concrete need for biology later on in my life, jump to the present almost 8 years after going through the IB subsid bio program and a few classes in college and bam i find myself studying the inner functions and working of the human body... working for a pharma company, you need to know your products and you need to know how they work, and why they work.. i should've paid more attention biology.. sorry Mr. Weaver...

last words...
crazy thing just happened, Marlon just texted me and told me that Mark (a teammate of ours last year in football, and a current marine) just got hit by shrapnel over in Iraq! broke his leg in 2 places and is being evacauted for treatment.. crazy.. i pray that he's alright...

time flies...
it seems like only yesterday that i was at home sleeping and watching tv, enjoying my break, being a bum for a week, and now i'm back at work with a new company.. makes me realize that the only things that are constant or concrete are change and death.. adjusting is always difficult but it helps you grow and adapt to different situations..

in a similar sense our country seems to be going through another change as well.. big rally tommorrow, don't know if they'll get the numbers, but it is about time that change for the better happened..pls...
